Wiltshire Council organised a community event in the Longfield Community Centre to welcome the new residents of South View Park and we were there to tell them about Biss Meadows and the plans we have for the park. This included the Pond Area and the Nature Trail.

The developer (Wains) is building a footbridge and a path into the new part of Biss Meadows. This area is soon to be passed across to the Council from Wimpey, the developers of the Old Farm Estate. Incidently, we've had many people from this development join the friends and hopefully many of the new residents of South View Park will join as well.

Moving forward, the Councils Core Strategy envisages over 2,500 homes in this area as well as employment zones. Potentially more land could be incorporated into Biss Meadows Country Park. Read more here.
