Ben Rawlings from TVC (BTCV) has made a superb notice board (with his Dad's help) for the Friends, and then residents from the Amber Foundation helped him to install it. It was funded by a grant from Trowbridge in Bloom. Our thanks to all these organisations and individuals for their support. There is a photo below. More to follow once the supports and tape is removed.

It is situated on the path from the Tesco's wooden footbridge and the town park towards Lavender Fields and the Old Farm Estate, at a spot overlooking the pond. This is a place that gets many walkers throughout the day and is situated very close to a street light.

We shall use the notice board to display not only events but also information about progress on the Pond Project. This will be particularly useful when the pond area is fenced off while it is renovated. This is tentatively scheduled for July. We are just awaiting news about our Community Spaces / Big Lottery grant application.
